Akatsuki Inc. announces that its 100%-owned subsidiary Hyke Comic Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; Representative Director and CEO: Teturo Koda) officially launched its service on June 22 with the “HykeComic” webtoon app, designed for vertical reading of full-color manga, following application development and content creation that began last year.
Release Lineup
HykeComic’s lineup of over 100 titles includes original in-house titles, popular overseas titles for which exclusive distribution rights have been acquired, and 25 titles that are being released in Japan for the first time. A breakdown of titles available at the time of official service launch are shown below.
